Online Consultation Refund Policy

This Refund Policy applies specifically to the Online Consultation services provided through the Simplifi.my platform. By accepting a quotation and proceeding with payment, you agree to the terms outlined below.

1. Payment Terms

  • Quotation Acceptance: Payment is only required after the client has formally accepted the quotation provided by the legal practitioner.
  • Full Payment: Once a quotation is accepted, the client must make full payment via the provided payment link to secure the booking.

2. Cancellation Policy

  • Finality of Payment: Once payment has been successfully made, the booking is considered confirmed. Bookings cannot be cancelled by the client after payment is completed. No refunds will be issued for client-side cancellations or change of mind.

3. Eligibility for Full Refund

A client is entitled to a 100% refund of the consultation fee under the following specific circumstances:

  • Lawyer Cancellation: If the lawyer cancels the booking for any reason prior to the start of the scheduled session.
  • Lawyer Non-Attendance: If the lawyer fails to attend the scheduled online meeting without prior notice or successful rescheduling.

4. Non-Refundable Scenarios

  • Client Non-Attendance: If the client fails to attend the scheduled meeting ("No-Show"), the payment is strictly non-refundable.
  • Late Arrival: Delays caused by the client exceeding 15 minutes may result in a forfeited session without a refund, subject to the lawyer's discretion.

5. Refund Processing

  • Approved refunds will be credited back to the original payment method used during checkout.
  • Please allow 7 to 14 working days for the refund to reflect in your account, depending on your financial institution's processing times.
